I have never ever read a book that made me so mad that I had to keep walking away from it. I had to turn off my kindle more times than i can remember. I even threw it across the room at one point. My nerves were on edge, and I was so frustrated I wanted to scream. I was in a bad mood, and I never cry in a book. Never ever ever. But this one made me so mad I cried.
I think iit is the most screwed up book I have ever read, and I read at least one book per day, ever day. T"his was totally out of my league.
The author has an imagination that only she can live with. Wow, I am utterly blown away.
I gave this book a 5 star because it will bring out every sense of feeling out of us the reader. I never knew I could get so worked up over a book. I read the first book and thought it was scewed up, but this one was way over the top and off the charts screwed up. The last page just made me really get so pissed, I don't knwo if I have the nerves to read the 3rd book
With all that said, kudos to the author and the imagination behind this book. It will forever be engraved in my mind and soul. I think it is going to be hard to sleep tonight. Wow..what a clusterfuxx of a roller coaster ride!

Very old school, Danielle Steele-like, saga. Updated to 21st century, of course. Lots of emotional turmoil; you will hate one character, then forgive them in the next chapter. I know there will be a HEA by the third book, and I can't wait to see how it unfolds. Also, love the idea of a pudgy central character. Leaves room for the old imagination to slip my "Every woman" body type into the book.
I absolutely loved "Groupie" and couldn't wait to start "Rock Star". I adored Andy in the first book. What the heck happened to her in the 2nd? She turned into a serious wimp! I couldn't even get halfway through this book. Will probably never read another of this author's books. Such a disappointment,
I tried to find some redeeming qualities in the main characters and just couldn't. Andy and Vanni are both self absorbed brats.
I loved "Rock Star" because I was so invested in the characters after reading the first book in the series, "Groupie." However, there was a lot of angst and treachery in this book, which made it a depressing read. Regardless, I'm so involved with this series, I'll definitely be reading the next two books ASAP.
Andy and Vanni get back together but enter Holly, a con artist and her boyfriend/brother Julian. What the heck was Vanni thinking getting involved with them..oh yeah drugs and booze made some very bad decisions for Vanni..costing him his true love Andy..Triangle with Andy, Vanni and Graham very interesting..But Graham is the bigger man.. never a dull moment. Fantastic read
This book was BRUTAL. Absolutely painfully brutal and I loved every minute of it. I actually had to take breaks during the day from reading because it was torture. I finished it in one day because I just had to know how it all ends. After everything they had been through I just had to know how it was going to end. After finishing the Avoiding Series and the Love Me With Lies series I didn't think I'd find another book so full of angst, drama, and chaos, until now. At times I felt like I just couldn't take it anymore and wanted to call it quits. But that was impossible. Voight gives us this beautifully painful story that keeps you coming back for more and more. Definitely not for the weak of heart and not for those looking for an easy HEA.
I want to read the 3rd book; I need to read the 3rd book...probably for closure. But, after everything my gut has endured from reading Rock Star, I don't know if I can take it! Groupie was awesome, but like everyone before me said, Rock Star was even better. This series is so awesome. If you are a fan of Thoughtless and Effortless by S.C. Stephens, this is a must read.

My stomach is in knots, my head is spinning and my heart beat has finally slowed back down to normal. I could not put Rock Star down! I read faster and faster until I hit that wall that almost sent me to my knees. I am so in love with this series, I just don't understand why more people have not read it. I finished the book literally 10 minutes ago and had to write about it immediately. I need more people to read it simply because I think I need a support group, lol.

The lies and betrayal of book 1 continue in book 2. The whirlwind of feelings tumbled down on me in a spiraling fashion. I just can't seem to get over the emotions this book had in it, I haven't been this blown away in a long time.
